About This Item
8vo, rebound with modern green cloth, gilt leather spine label, 191 pp. Some staining of foxing to pastedowns and endpapers, slight edgewear, pencil signature on front endpaper, some browning and aging to contents; otherwise very good. This work covers the costs and adequacy of Canadian canals, and provides analysis on some of the individual canals. In the first chapter the author addresses some of the limitations of the existing system. Kingsford provides specific data on costs for key canals, and relates some of the problems with them.
