Toronto: Self Published By the Author. Good. 1909. Hardcover. 304 p. 23 cm. Square binding in blue cloth covered boards. Front hinge is loose but not cracked or broken. Heavily faded along the spine and uppe board edges. Staining to lower board. Worn through at the spine ends and the corners. Inside the text block is rippled and the pages have tanned somewhat. Stories of thoroughbred horse racing in Canada at the turn of the 20th century. Illustrated with black and white photographs, which are mostly portraits. .
