London, Elkin Mathews, 1918. . First editions, first impressions, combined issue; 8vo; contemporary ownership inscription to front free endpaper; publisher's grey/brown boards, titles to upper board and spine gilt, some minor and typical rubbing to the boards but an unusually nice copy.
Elkin Mathews had previously reissued the unbound first edition Personae and Exultations as as single, kind of remainder state. Having met with some success they proceeded along the same path with the third and books of Pound's they had published. Quite scarce in this condition.
