Copy 1: FIRST EDITION, THIRD PRINTING, 1963. The cover is dusty, a few mild stains, spine head/tail worn, corners also a bit rubbed, tiny end missing but mended. Back covers also dusty, edges worn, old fold, now flat, corner restored, Contents very clean no issues. * Copy 2: FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING 1980. This date is an error, as clearly the true First Edition, First Printing was in the 1960's. Printing must be before the above 3rd. printing, likely publisher's error by not adding the printing number, which is omitted, but clearly a newer edition that above. . A bit of silverfish loss of color to spine and lower edge, else clean covers. The 2 iron staples rusted penetrated the front covers a bit with their old & minor rust stains on front covers. . Contents pristine, no issues, firmly bound. Colophon states: 19890, December FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. Clearly they used some old colophon when they reprinted this edition. * Copy 3. FIRST EDITION, 1991. There is a bit of staple rust on the front cover, inside of cover mended, back side not an issue. By and large a very clean, bright & solid copy. Contents likewise very clean, no issues. Back cover very fresh & clean, old book store's red round stamped on lower back edge. . Colophon states: 1980 February First Edition, 1991, June 8th printing. . Colophon states: 1980, Feb. First Edition, followed by:1991, June, 8th edition. By and large, clean & fresh example. * .
