New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., Inc., 1973. First Edition. First printing Very good+ in dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine and with a dent to the lower edge of the text block which appears to be a binder's error as there is no corresponding dent to the lower edges of the boards. There is also minor dust staining to the top edge of the text block. In a very near fine dust jacket with the price intact on the front flap and only a hint of wear at the upper edge of the spine area. 320 pages including an index, notes on sources, a chronology, text and a section of photographs of period art work and maps together with deck plans, rigging sketch and line drawings of the Bounty.
