Laporte, IN: Millikan & Holmes, 1856. First Edition . Hardcover. Very good- in original embossed cloth. "Mrs. Farmer's Poems" in gilt on spine, and embossed on the front and rear boards. Light brown cloth has a split at the outside rear gutter from the bottom to just past the middle of the spine. Minor dampstain at lower hinge; fairly minor foxing throughout book. Marbled endpapers with a presentation bookplate dated July 4th, 1876 on the front pastedown. 236 pages with an errata slip tipped in after the last page of text.
