About This Item
Shreveport, Louisiana, U.S.A.: Creative Pub Co, 1978. Hardcover. Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 212p. index. The author describes the neglected account in detail of William Henry Hutchinson's major role in Hardin's arrest (although the legend gives far too much credit to Texas Ranger John Barlcay Armstrong) and he also cites evidence that the reward money was shared with his supposed friends along with his relatives. A major contribution to studies of the outlaw who killed more than any other known badman.
