(Book Club--unstated) Large, heavy, sturdy book, brown cloth spine, light green boards, very bright green and gilt lettering on spine, green color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 369 lightly browned stiff pages including photo sections throughout. DJ glossy with color-illustration of officer on horse, black spine and back, praise on back from Philip Ziegler in Lond Times, Times Literary Supplement with pink line design. DJ has tiny scratch at bottom front edge next to spine, very slight wear to spine top edge, tiny tear with light wear at spine bottom edge, very slight wear to back edges with some light scratches. Near Good DJ/Very Fine book.
