U.S.A.: Harper & Brothers, 1878. BW1 - A fair used book with all pages although some are loose and no Dj. Ex. Lib. with the usual stamping and stickers. The book has the original boards with gilt lettering and design with one letter covered by a cloth tape spine. The boards are badly worn on the corners and edges. There is extensive repairs including cloth tape hinge, glued in pages, and a cloth tape spine with hand printed title and author. A consise history of charicature and comic art from the earliest times and from around the world, illustrated by 203 illustrations.. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
