Describes the petition of the citizens of Carson Valley, Utah Territory, who were a group of Mormons led by Elder Orson Hyde, and thought to be practicing polygamy. The Committee on Territories sent forth a recommendation for the bill in the House to expand the borders of California to not pass. 2 pp. Disbound government document. Spine edge is creased and chipped with very small binding pin holes, document browning along edges, some foxing marks. Document in VG- condition.. Paperbound. Very Good-. Size: Approx. 5 3/4" x 9".
