Bibliographical Society, London, first edition, 1985. Laminated printed wrappers, large 8vo,. xiv, 54 pp. 106 entries. The publishing firm Mount & Page dominated maritime publishing in England throughout the first half of the 18th century and continued to occupy a prominent place in the second half. This handlist attempts to identify the titles and editions of all non-cartographical books with which Mount or Mount and Page were associated (from about 1684 to about 1790) and lists some 106 works (many of which went through large numbers of editions, all separately noted). Three appendixes provide a table of advertisements, a list of non-maritime works, and a chronological summary list.Occasional Publications of the Bibliographical Society No. 1.
