Entire volume: xx, 456 pp. 8 engraved plates at end, two hand-colored. Contemporary half sheep. "First successful ligation of the internal iliac, Dec. 27, 1812. The patient died in 1822 and an account of the autopsy is given by Richard Owen in Med.-chir. Trans.,1830, 16,219-35" (Garrison-Morton-Norman 2935).
