Toronto: Samuel Rose. Good. 1867. Hardcover. 327 p. 19 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Corners bumped and worn through. Wear at spine ends. A few soil marks. Gilt spine titles dulled. Former owner's stamp on front pastedown endpaper. Some soiling to preliminary and first few pages. Text block rippled, but not stained. The first volume of five, published from 1867 to approximately 1875, and which recounts the Methodist movement in Canada under the direction of the Reverend William Case. .
