This copy from the library of author, Fay Ehlert, with a signed gift inscription dated 1929 by her to her mother on the front endpaper, Fay's bookplate on inside front cover & "Fax and Max Ehlert / 1937" in pen on the title-page. Illustrated with photo by Ratzka. Good, no dust jacket as issued, Spine & spine edges darkened, slight to moderate soiling to front & rear covers, front inner hinge cracked at top, horizontal tear with old tape repair near top left corner of first page, 19.5 x 25. soft cover. 435pp. Signed: I Signed By Author
