London: Macdonald & Co (1984), 1984. First hardcover trade edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fine. 8vo. [4], v, [1], 1-329, [1] pp. Blue cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Price of £8.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. The American first edition was published in 1979, in paperback only. This is the first hardcover trade edition. A lovely copy of the third book in the beloved Xanth series, difficult to find in the first edition. The usual toning to the top textblock and a tiny split to the front gutter between the title page and the table of contents.

Synopsis

Castle Roogna is the third book of the Xanth series by Piers Anthony. The castle itself is also the residence of the present King of Xanth.
