The first UK edition was published the previous year as Aunts Aren't Gentlemen. Octavo. Original brown boards, spine lettered in gilt, black cat device on front cover, buff endpapers. With dust jacket. Title page with line drawing of a cat and horse. Upper and lower extremities rubbed, small mark on front free endpaper, offset from jacket front flap sticker residue, contents clean. A very good copy in like dust jacket, price-clipped, a little wear and creasing to edges, jacket unfaded and bright. McIlvaine A97b.
