About This Item
Paris: Imprimerie Horticole de E. Donnaud, 1868. A very rare catalogue of hundreds of fruit trees offered for sale by Cottin. 32 pp. Provides a full description of each tree and its fruit. An association copy from the collection of Comte Hippolyte de Castillon de Saint-Victor (1830-1898), who assembled a celebrated library in the field of botany (his signature on front wrapper). Several neat, contemporary manuscript additions. Small 8vo. Original wraps. Wraps worn but complete. Internally very clean. Extraordinarily rare: I have located no other copies.
