About This Item
Auckland: Groome Poyry Ltd, 1997. Paperback trade, very good condition, base spine little bumped, small stripe front cover (colour loss during printing), minor edgewear, copy 1. 114 pp. This catalogue by W. D. Wilcox has been prepared as a checklist of all currently recognised species in the three eucalypt genera, Angophora, Corymbia, and Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae). The book incorporates the intensive taxonomic work undertaken over the previous 15 years. There are presently 789 recognised species of eucalypt. Only five species occur exclusively outside Australia: these are found in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The author works as a forestry consultant with Groome Poyry in New Zealand.
