Trustees of the British Museum, London, first edition, 1912. Cloth, folio, 39 cm,. xvi, 130 pp, 18 plates, facs. The Huth library was collected by Henry Huth, father of Alfred H. Huth, who in his will allowed the British Museum to select their choice of 50 items from the collection, which was one of the greatest ever assembled. Several of the Museum's experts contributed to the catalogue: "The introduction and most of the descriptions of the printed books are the work of Mr. A. W. Pollard, the ballads have been catalogued by Mr. Arundell Esdaile. The manuscripts have been described by Mr. J. A. Herbert. and the note on the engravings contained in no.
