Original brown cloth with new spines in dyed cloth to match original and new endpapers. Titles on Protective Mylar sleeves. 9 inches tall; xxiii, 239 pages with index followed by publisher adverts. Illustrated with intext drawings. The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear.
Ex-library with library stamps on title page and occasionally in the text margin but no other library markings.. Part III containing the Order Chelonia. 1889; Part IV Containing the Orders Anomodontia, Ecaudata, Caudata, and Labyrinthodontia, and Suppliment 1890.
