Wide margins, edges untrimmed, deckled edges; pages unopened. Spotting and foxing to pages, with a moisture stain on the bottom margin on all leaves. Presentation inscription on front wrapper: "a mon ami et compatriote Paultre, [signed] E. Lelièvre.". Medical thesis on cataracts presented to the medical faculty of Paris. Presents a pathology, suggests remedies and treatments, and ways of managing residual effects of surgical extraction of cataracts. This copy with untrimmed, extra-wide margins and in its originally drab wrappers.
