This is the second edition, revised, of the book first published in 1948. This deluxe edition, the standard work on the Cathedral of Mexico, was published in a edition of 3000 copies, bound in linen-covered boards and calf spine. The text is adorned with black and white and color woodcuts and each chapter begins with a rubricated initial. Illustrated with 98 black and white plates (many are photographs by Guillermo Kahla), 33 color plates, and 19 plans and drawings. Text in Spanish.
