Also contains Arthur Cayley's "A Sixth Memoir Upon Quantics" (pp. 61-90) and William Farr's "On the Construction of Life-Tables, Illustrated by a New Life-Table of the Healthy Districts of England" (pp. 837-878). vi, [4], 16, [1]-930 pp. 4to. Library binding, tan leather spine with gold embossed titling. Interiors clean, ex-library stamp on title page, and occurring sporadically within. Numerous folding plates that illustrate articles. Pages were trimmed slightly when rebound.
