U.S.A: Macmillan, 1929. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Type: Hardback Third Printing. 1929 Hardcover Book in Very Good Condition. No Jacket. Pobinson's "Collected Poems", 1921, won the First Pulitzer Prize to be awarded for poetry in 1921. He won it again in 1925 for The Man Who Died twice and in 1928 for Tristram (1927). His poetry forms a bridge from Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson to the truly modern poets of the 20th Century. 102 pages. 20.5 cm. Rough cut. A few pages remain uncut. Purple cloth with gilt tooling on front, gilt titled on backstrap. Very clean and unmarked, with rubbing of edges and corners. Tight and solid and square. Interior is fine, lightly toned.
