New Ipswich, NH: The Celebration Committee, 1900. This antique hardcover book is bound in dark green cloth boards with bright gilt lettering on the front cover; no spine lettering. The book details the celebration held in honor of the 150th anniversary of New Ipswich, New Hampshire. Included is a small card bearing the text of a poem composed and read by James B. Davis on Jan. 7, 1897, in celebration of the new library building. The book contains the text of numerous speeches given in celebration of 150 years as well as the names of subscribers to the Celebration Fund and other supporters. Cover has heavy discoloration at the lower corners of the front and back covers, tanned pages, wear, and soil. Fair condition. 91 pages; approx. 6"x9".. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. Illus. by None.
