About This Item
London: Walter Scott, Ltd., 1895. An interesting novel by the prominent Irish author (1852-1933) that followed the great success of "Esther Waters." Interestingly enough, it was published in a small edition. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition. Ribbed maroon cloth binding with gilt lettering. Clean text; 559 pages with 8 pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Mildly bumped corners, and the first signature is splitting at the Title Page. Still, a respectable copy that would be worth some reinforcement. No dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket.
