An as new, unread, tight, clean, sound copy in black cloth covered boards with gold lettering on the spine. The dust jacket is in very good+ condition with very minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of some very light rubbing plus some light creasing of the spine top edge. The story is set in 1945 in an Irish village and about two young men who must wrestle with the temptations caused by encroaching modern values that are slowly changing the face of village life. The author is a naturalized Irish-American. 225p.. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 5.25"x8".
