Washington DC: United States Mint, 1990. Original 3" copper medal issued in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Yosemite National Park. Designed by Chester Matrin, one side shows a waterfall amid some redwoods and bear the lettering "Yosemite" and the other show a wide angle view of the vallery along with a John Muir quote ("Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, John Muir"). Comes with the original small printed placard and a plexiglass stand. Excellent.
