Lolly Susi has a B.A. from Tufts University, a Diploma in Acting from the Central School of Speech and Drama and has been a professional actress both in America and the UK. Her credits include plays for the Royal National Theatre, the English Shakespeare Company, several regional repertory theatres, tours throughout Great Britain and abroad, as well as numerous film and TV roles. She has directed and assistant directed shows at the Sheffield Crucible, the Newcastle Playhouse, the Hawaii Performing Arts Company, and the Manoa Valley Theatre and in London at Off Stage Downstairs, the Good Luck Theatre, and the Royal National Theatre for their studio series in the Cottesloe. The Hampstead Theatre produced her first play, 'Gone to L.A.' and commissioned her second, 'Ice Out at the Big Dog'. Oberon published her first book, 'The Central Book: 100-year History of the Central School of Speech and Drama'. This work presents a 100 year history of the Central School of Speech and Drama. , the college became a national centre, offering specialist education to a broad range of communities. This book documents the school's foundation, its changes and developments over a century. The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama was founded by Elsie Fogerty in 1906 to offer an academically integrated form of training in drama and speech for young actors and other students. It became a constituent of the University of London in 2005 and its prominent alumni include Laurence Olivier, Vanessa Redgrave, Judi Dench, Harold Pinter and Kit Harington.
