Moderate edge-wear, very faint handwritten numbers to foot of spine, leather faintly cracked from age, three scuffs to leather portion of boards. Pages slightly toned. Memorial bookplate inside front cover and rubber stamp to t.-p. Else unmarked and firm. Printed in three columns with woodcut vignettes ('very largely original') throughout. With special attention to the Middle English vocabulary in Chaucer. Price presumes payment of extra shipping charges. . Good. Leather Bound. 1st Edition. 1896.
