Northfield: Norwegian-American Historical Association, 1937. First Edition (NAP) . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bound in navy cloth with titles stamped in gilt. Corresponding 1937 dates to the title and copyright pages; no additional printings. Bookplate of Norwegian-American collector Herman Gimmestad to the front pastedown, otherwise fine. No wear to the cloth; no other marks. The dust wrapper has only a hint of surface wear at the head of the spine and light toning to the white rear panel. No rips or chips; not price-clipped. A clean, tight copy, with the jacket now in mylar.
