The author, in an optimistic way, thinks our world is changing for the better than our ancestor's world because we are ashamed in what they gloried in. He discusses education, entertainment, transportation, the uses of leisure and the effects of technological progress. He also evaluates the pro's and con's of change in different areas. He has a special section "The Swift Kick" where he disagrees with the misguided liberalism in education and juvenile delinquency. Full of perceptive observations on moral standards. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
