Boston, Mass: University Press/Fields, Osgood & Co., 1869. History of the Erie (Pennsylvania) Railroad Company. Charming little green book with gilt type and decorations on cover and spine, & dark brown endpapers inside. Cover shows some rubbing and some wear at all extremities, but it is solid and still attractive and all the gilt is fresh. Inscribed neatly in black ink by former owner, George G. Lowell. Inside pages show some minor foxing and shadows, else clean and tight. A nice, well-preserved book, filled with historic detail. . 1st Edition. Cloth. Good/None as Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
