Dayton (OH) : Morningside House, 1988. Reprint of the 1893 edition, Facsimile 66, of Civil War Heritage Series Number Five. Size is octavo (8vo), 9.25"/23.3 cm h. Quarterbound in publisher's red-brown cloth (spine) and tan cloth (boards) gilt lettering imprinted to spine. Front board features red, white, blue, and black renditions of three flags, apparently the first and last CSA national flags, plus a variant on the battle flag. Plain white endpapers. [4] pp not accounted for in pagination, [1-5], 6, i-xxiv (sic) Morningside intro w footnotes, [7-8], 9-343, [344-354] blank; plus unpaginated frontispiece photo of author, and one additional full page photo. Author's preface, 35 chaps, index. B&w illus. Condition notes: a clean, tight copy, with a small light stain to tail corner of pages and rolled spine ends; else excellent. Collins served in Granbury's Texas Brigade in the Army of Tennessee. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
