S., in some cases how the work came to be written; an alphebetical list of characters, with description, quote, name of work, and in some cases a cross-reference (e.g., Dawkins, John is cross-referenced as Artful Dodger, The); a similar, but much shorter, list of places; a time line of Dickens's life, career, and general events; an alphabetical list of Dickens's circle, with partial capsule biographies; a long (241 pp) section of quotations; and an index. You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order.
