Wills and color illustrated endpapers; 50 pages with two-color illustrations throughout by Roy K. Wills From back cover: "The True-to-Life stories, written by one of America's foremost wildlife expert, are highly acclaimed by conservation and education authorities as significant contributions to the appreciation and understanding of our natural resources." Author Ruben William Eschmeyer, PhD (1905 - 1955) was a biologist active in fisheries and conservation. Pencilled notations on front cover, some light soil or foxing to covers and outside pages and some light creases on covers. We also noted spots in the bottom margins of page 15 and 24/25. . 2nd. Trade Paperback. Reading Copy/No Jacket. Illus. by Willls, Roy K.. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
