Scarce biography of Philadlephia-born entertainer Charlotte Greenwood (1890-1977) . Greenwood began her career in vaudeville and in 1913 made her Broadway debut in "The Tik-Tok Man Of Oz". She went on to a career in silent and then sound movies though most of her most notable performances were on the stage. From 1944-46 she had her own radio program , "The Charlotte Greenwood Show", a situaltion comedy that broadcast on the ABC and later NBC networks.
