First Quebec Edition. 8vo. This handsome French Canadian Chateau saw history from the early days of Montreal's wars with the English and the Mohawks to The Revolutionary war when Benjamin Franklin and Father Carol of Maryland and other's sent from the Continental Congress to win Quebec to the American Patriots. This stone building is preserved in Montreal as museum to these periods and the Masonic ideals of democracy and the Scottish French Templar. This clean 24 pp.color illustrated booklet gives this history and shows the maps, Antique French furniture, and silver Masonic jewelry, maps on display. In French and facing English. Very good condition. A little shelf wear only NOT a library copy. This is a little peek into Benjamin Franklin the Revolutionary War in Montreal. Color painting of Chateau on cover.
