London: T.Fisher Unwin Ltd, 1920. First Edition. Blue Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. n/a. 302pp. 1st edition. A scarce signed presentation copy from the author - who who wrote many of the Chats on collecting series. The author has written in a neat ink hand to the front endpaper. 'To my old friend Frederick Arup. with every good wish Arthur Hayden 16th November 1920.' Numerous plate - photographic reproductions are present and all called for. The spine embossed with silver and the front board blind-stamped. Tissue-guarded frontispiece. A couple of edges rough-cut. Some foxing throughout - most notable to the fore-edges. A very good, tight presentation copy.
