New York: Cassell & Company, Ltd.. Fair with no dust jacket. 1889. First Edition (?). Hardcover. Assumed first edition hardcover. Truly wonderful engraving illustrations of children & family scenes to accompany stories and poems. Victorian type color pictorial cover, unfortunately in very worn condition, spine is nearly disintegrated and some pages are consequently loose. Page edges have some soiling, and one stain or burn, pages have foxing/tanning, but otherwise clean text and illustrations for age. Book is protected in a mylar bag. No pages appear to be missing. ; 9.60 x 7.50 x 1.25 inches .
