Lyon: De L'imprimerie D'amable Le Roy, 1791 Book. Fair to Good. Soft cover. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. Original brown soft cover. Untrimmed edges. Text in French. Plays written between 1657 and 1673, the year Moliere died during the fourth performance of Le Malade Imaginaire. L'e Cole des Maris, Les Precieuses Ridicules, George Dandin ou Le Mari Confondu, Le Malade Imaginaire, Le Sicilien ou L'amour Peintre. All are comedies, the last being a comedie-ballet. No writing or marks. First four leaves starting to split about an inch from head and foot of spine, but all in one piece and easily readable with care. The oldest soft cover we've had ! 304 pp..
