Well illustrated throughout with 25 very good black and white photographic plates and 11 line drawings in the text. This is one of the Industrial Archaeology series edited by L T C Rolt. This is an Ex-Library book and bears a couple of discreet rubber stamps indicating its origins in the Victorian Society library. In original burgundy buckram gilt hard cover binding with the very top corner of the front board slightly bumped otherwise Very Good+. In Very Good attractive pictorial dust wrapper.
