First edition, near fine cloth hardcover shows some light shelf and trace wear and short inscription at front endpaper, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows exposure toning along spine and spine edges of panels, mild bit of rubbing and soil, and edgewear that includes closed tears and shallow open chipping at ends and corners. 282 with black & whites, map and index. Still a pleasing copy of this epic work that tells of the Cheyenne exodus that was turned into the movie of the same name.
