William Hard (1878-1962) was a social reformer and muckraking journalist who was an early resident of Hull House where he established a neighborhood magazine called "The Neighbor." He was the author of many magazine articles and books on progressive topics such as child labor, industrial working conditions and accidents, women's rights, etc. He also wrote an early debunking of the Protocols called The Great Jewish Conspiracy (1920).
