New York, 1894. First edition. Cloth. Very Good. 4to. 25 by 14 cm. 35 pp. Two photo plates within text pages, and following text are four additional plates, three of which are folding. Two of these are maps, the largest is a cross-section of the whole tunnel, and the final plate is a segmental plate for the tunnel lining. The report deals with all aspects of the contruction process, including problems with contractors, health issues and deaths, fire and other challenges.
