Collins, 1947. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1947. New Edition. 256 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over pink cloth with black lettering. Half of dust jacket is missing. Deckled text block edges. Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front paste-down, with an pencil inscription to free endpaper. Minor dog-eared corners. Rubbing and a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean and slight bow. Unclipped jacket has heavy surface wear, with very large areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing to front cover, spine and corners. Moderately tanned and thumb-marked overall.
