Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No edition remarks. 56 pages. No dust jacket. Colour illustrated board with gilt lettering to front. Numerous Black and white illustrations and colour illustrative plates. Binding remains firm. Couple of cracked gutters, with exposed netting. Front hinge also cracked. Pages and illustrations are moderately tanned throughout. Plates brighter. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and pastedown. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners with crushing to spine ends. Fraying to cloth in both areas. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Splits to spine head. Small "rust" spot to back board. Scuffs and scratches to both boards. Boards are bowed.
