The pages facing the plates toned from the paper the plates are mounted upon. It would be quite rare to find a better copy. 8vo. [vi], 138p. Illustrated by Hugh Thomson with seven tipped-in color plates. Bound in publisher's bright blue ribbed cloth with decorated endpapers, the spine and upper cover with elaborate embossed designs in gilt of bells, holly wreaths, and elves.
