Tightly bound with contents displaying even tanning without foxing. Vol. II, Staining to boards and wear to leather. Covers and spine detached from each other and text block, but present. Binding cracked at p. 214. Otherwise clean and tight, with tanning, as in Vol. I.. 3/4 brown leather, marbled boards, gilt spine lettering in brown and red title boxes. Marbled endpapers and text block. [50] bw illus. Volume I: xx, 480 pp. Volume II: vii, 427 pp. Two volumes. (Laid-in news articles from 1940, re: Siamese cats).
