Harper & Brothers, 1958. 1st Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First edition of this Judge Dee mystery. Book has some light discoloration to the endpapers and gutters else near fine. Jacket has some light soiling to the rear panel, wear to the bottom of the front panel (1/8" high); and a small (3/4" X 1/2") triangular piece missing from the bottom of the rear panel adjacent to the spine. Not price-clipped.
